This is an intermediate self-contained CD SCILLS classroom for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. The focus of this program is designed for students with a communication disorder. Our goal is to help students develop better receptive and expressive language skills throughout their academic day.
I am very excited about teaching at Ashland Ranch this year! My students call me Mrs. DiBiase or Ms. D. for short. I have three sons, a daughter, and a grandson. I enjoy spending time with my family and teaching. For most of my career, I was a "stay at home mom" and participated in various school events. In 2007, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in art education and fine arts. I substitute taught in various subjects and grade levels. I enjoyed working in the special education classrooms and pursued a master's degree in Special Education with a dual certification in General Education. This will be my 6th year of teaching in the Gilbert Public School district. I was a primary SPICE II teacher for 4 years, and taught in the intermediate CD SCILLS program last year.
